Emmy Rossum

Emmy Rossum is known for her role in The Day After Tomorrow and The Phantom at the Opera. She is also a singer. “Inside out” album has just been released in October. After just a week, the album was ranked 199 in Billboard TOP 200.

Born in New York in 1986, Emmy Rossum began performing at the Metropolitan Opera Children’s Chorus. During 5 years, she sang in 20 different languages and next world’s greatest tenors Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti.

After playing in The Phantom at the Opera, Emmy Rossum received lots of offers for a classical album, but she refused all of them preferring to try contemporary music. She said: “it’s pop music, but not Britney Spears bubblegum pop. I want it to have a David Gray or Annie Lennox feel. I’ve been spending up to 12 hours a day in the studio.
