2013 Chevy Malibu at the 2011 NY Auto Show

GM finally unveiled its third generation of Chevrolet Malibu this week at the 2011 New York and Shanghai Auto Shows, after a series of teaser clips and photos. The response from the public was positive so far, due to the “fresh” look of the new model – with a redesigned exterior and an all-new dual-cockpit inspired interior –, which is going on sale in over 100 countries, next year. Here’s a glimpse of it at its debut at the NY Auto Show:

“The current Malibu has left an award-winning impression and changed the way people think about Chevrolet. It redefined what an American midsize car could be. […]This all-new Malibu delivers on the intangibles of today’s Malibu but gives customers even more: more style, fuel efficiency, content and features, craftsmanship, and dynamic capabilities rivaling high-end sedans.” stated Rick Scheidt, vice president, Chevrolet Marketing.
