As you probably know, Lamborghini donates new models to the Italian State Police. Now, the latest Lambo police car donated is 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia. If here, we were presenting you a super police car that was build just for a show, this 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia is for real.
It is equipped with medical emergency equipment and high speed survelliance devices. It has a refrigerated cabinet in the hood for transporting donor organs and a defibrillator on-board. So, the policemen have to know some medical studies. There are 30 police officers (including 3 women) that have been trained for using the medical equipment.
But this car is not just an ambulance. It has attached in the front a live video camera connected to the station that surveillance the traffic and the speed of the cars. This camera is connected with a GPS device. Both of them, working together, make everything much more easier. The camera broadcasts live the chasing and transmits all the data (location, speed, direction, license plate number) to the police station using radio data transmission. This way, the details about the pursued car are already found out.
