Kim Kardashian: TV starlet turned pop singer! Who’s next?

After Paris Hilton “delighted” us with her singing talent a few years ago, it’s now Kim Kardashian’s turn to “Turn It Up”. Kardashian, who has also been involved in a sex-tape scandal, has released her debut single “Jam/ Turn It Up”, on March 2^nd, on Ryan Seacreast’s KIIS-FM radio show.

While Seacrest said he dug the song, multiple-reality-show starlet expressed her nervousness: “I think it’s only normal for me to be nervous,” admitted the starlet turned singer; she continued: “I’m human… this is definitely something that I don’t do. I needed to step outside my comfort zone. This is a really big deal.” Prior to this confession, however, she had stated that she doesn’t have any intention of launching a music career, and that this musical project of hers was just “all fun”. And it seems that 50% of the proceeds from the song are going to a cancer organization, as both Kim and the songwriter The Dream have lost a parent to cancer.

Following in the above-mentioned sexy celebrities’ footsteps, Hugh Hefner’s fiancée, Crystal Harris, is also going to release a song just before the couple’s wedding, in June. In the meantime, the Playboy star will get some vocal training from Seth Riggs, known for his previous work with Madonna, Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder.
