Coachella 2011: Celebrities, Heat, Skin, and… Some Music

Last weekend, April 15-17 2011, Coachella Music and Arts Festival brought together big names in the music industry, from Kings of Leon, the Chemical Brothers, and Robyn, to Arcade Fire, the Strokes, and Kanye West, in one of the strongest festival line-ups of the year. With so many hot performers and an even hotter weather, the atmosphere itself got blazing hot urging many of the festival’s attendees to wear only their bathing suits, which rapidly became the most popular clothing item.

And speaking of Coachella Valey, Indio, California, very close to Hollywood, the celebrity invasion was inevitable. The festival suddenly became even more interesting with all the familiar faces strutting around.

David Haselhoff, 58, the Britain’s Got Talent judge, enjoyed his Sunday at the festival with his Welsh girlfriend, 31-year-old Hayley Roberts; Tara Reid showed up with her new boyfriend apparently, Katy Perry without Russel Brand from the looks of it, while Lady Gaga found a way to promote her new single Judas, without even being present, by sending a plane to write “Gaga Judas” in the sky.

Other celebrities who showed up at the buzzing three-day event, all sipping water, eating frozen yoghurt, or having a stronger drink, were Ashley Greene, Vanessa Hudgens, Lindsay Lohan, Kate Bosworth, Usher, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, just to name a few.

And for all the Gleeks out there, here are some pictures of some of the Glee cast members present at the steamy festival. Rumor has it that Lea Michele was a nasty girl, mocking another a girl for no reason, and Chord Overstreet hooked up with noneother than Emma Roberts.
