As the title says, Lord of Ultima is the first free EA’s strategy MMO game that can be played in almost any browser. Lord of Ultima has similarities with Travian but is more complex and, let’s say it fair, longer.

After registering, every player receives a city. As almost any strategy game, the user has to build and upgrade buildings. This is one of the best parts of the game, because the number of cities is limited, so you have to place them wisely. More of that, different buildings if are placed near others can boost stats. As an example, if you build a Cottage near a Quarry, the Cottage with boost the Quarry’s production by 4 percent. Upgrading the Cottage, the production bonus get higher till 50%. Also, if you build a Warehouse near a Quarry, it will increase more the storage capacity of stone.

The first step in the game is to build resource buildings. More resources means more upgraded buildings. After that, when you feel rich enough, you can start develop a strong army. The army is used especially for plundering dungeons and mobs, but it is useful for attacking other players too.

The EA provides several servers based on geographical position. Each server means a world. Each world is divided in continents. Each continent is populated when new users register. This means that if you register now, your neighbors will be also beginner users. So, don’t be afraid that some develop player will attack you in the first days of your play.

Kitana

A primary hero in the Mortal Kombat saga, Kitana is the princess of Edenia and the daughter of Queen Sindel. She is over 10,000 years old, although she appears to be in her early to mid twenties, due to the extremely slow rate at which Edenians age. Through the years, she has risen to great importance, first as the loyal stepdaughter of the evil Outworld emperor Shao Kahn; then his enemy, tearing herself away from his grasp and freeing her home realm of Edenia; and then leading an army into Outworld to combat any chance of Shao Kahn rising to power again.

Mileena

Mileena is a clone of Princess Kitana, brought to life by Shang Tsung for the evil emperor of Outworld, Shao Kahn, using the savage Tarkatan race’s physiology. Mileena is physically identical to Kitana, with the exception of her lower face, which belies her Tarkatan origin. She obsessively despises Kitana and wishes to replace her as the princess of Outworld and Edenia.An opportunist, she will make use of any chance to seize power that comes within her grasp.

Sonya Blade

Lieutenant Sonya Blade is one of the main heroes of the MK series. She is a member of an elite United States Special Forces unit and later also the Outer World Investigation Agency. Her impulsiveness is catalyzed by her superior and good friend Major Jackson “Jax” Briggs. Sonya represents a very emancipated and headstrong woman, but for all her stubbornness and pride, she deeply cares about the lives of her friends and comrades. She has a long-standing enmity with the thug Kano, who stands for everything Sonya despises.

“HiFi Arena Hi-Feelings” happened these days in Bucharest. This was the sixth edition and gathered the leading providers of audio and video HiFi solutions. It was such a nice experience for me to visit each producer room where they have shown their best products.

The big names of the exhibition were: Bang & Olufsen, Bose, Sony Overseas, Yamaha and Audiotehnic. I tried many products and all of them were incredible.
